Does the computer need to be turned on while the RAID is building/rebuilding?
All RAID enabled G-Technology devices require the computer to be powered on while the RAID set is building/rebuilding. This is because the RAID information/data is managed by the RAID configuration software and is written to the drives.
The computer should be set so it will not sleep, as that will pause the process until the computer is active again.
