G-Safe under 10.9 Mavericks

Postby liambrazier » Dec 2nd, '13, 07:34

Since upgrading to OSX 10.9 whenever the G-Safe is connected to my iMac it hangs any app when trying to load or save a file. The problem does not exist when the drive is off/disconnected so is definitely the source of the problem.

Is there a driver/software update to fix this critical issue?

Hi liambrazier,

Thanks for posting. In our testing of 10.9 we found no conflict with the g-safe or any g-technology product with the operating system. You can try swapping the connection cable to make sure that is not causing the issue. All of our drives are plug and play, so the drivers are provided by the operating system. If you upgraded to 10.9 by more that one os version (i.e. 10.6 or 10.7) there may be some left over obsolete drivers conflicting within the system. If swapping the connection cable does not resolve the issue you may want to contact apple for support.
