configurator is confused and wrong

Postby DNL » Aug 3rd, '13, 09:32

I have a new G-RAID mini. It does not have JM at the end of its serial number.

I downloaded the Oxford Chipset version of the configurator. When run it does not locate the attached drive.

However, I tried also the JMicron version of the configurator and it does recognize the drive as one that can be configured. But the drive is not labeled a JMicron type. The label without JM at the end is supposed to mean Oxford type.

What's going on here? The only thing I can think is that the drive probably is somehow a JMicron drive but it has been mislabeled. Or, G-Tech has mislabeled their configurator.

Return to G-DRIVE mini
