MAC OS Extended not offered

HI I have my drive set at 0 Raid for editing speed but cant initialize with Mac OS Extended. Only Journaled is offered. What should I do.

Hi James,

Thanks for posting. If Mac OS extended is not available for whatever reason journaling can be toggled off. First with disk utility open select the indented logical partition (i.e. the drive name), then hold down option on your keyboard, click file, then click disable journaling.

Hi Dustin, Thanks for your attention. I do not see the Journaled toggle, and can I do this after saving data to the drive. See attachment image of what I se in disk utility.

Hi James,

Yes this can be done after data is put on the drive. You hold down control on the keyboard then click file from the menu bar at the top of the screen (not the top of the window) up next to the apple symbol.
