Graid 4T - No longer mounting

Postby srkenne264 » Jan 10th, '14, 16:34

After about a year of service the drive is no longer working. We cannot see it in finder. In disk utility it can be seen. I can verify the top file, but when the bottom sector (4t section of partition) it says disk needs to be repaired. During repair it says it has a bad journal entry, it says its repaired but when reverified it happens again. Any advice would be appreciated

Hi srkenne264,

Thanks for your post. The issues you are seeing indicate a damaged directory. You can often repair the directory using DiskWarrior, which the repair of the directory should allow the drive to mount. Please let me know if you have any questions.
