Change of RAID mode in G-RAID mini w/Oxford 924

Postby Fuzarca » Nov 20th, '12, 02:18

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to change the mode to RAID 1 in a G-RAID mini of the generation without esata port (Only FW 800 x2, FW400, USB 2.0).
I tried on Snow leopard but the configurator gets stuck in searching the drive. I only had that drive connected and I tried with USB and FW800 connection and didn't work.
Thank you for any tip you can give me.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. I don't believe the Configurator will work with the original G-RAID Mini, as the newer GRM utilizes the 936 chipset, and I don't have an older model to try it. If you do try it, use the USB port and make sure no other external drives are connected other than the GRM, otherwise the Configurator cannot find the drive. Please let me know if you have any questions.
