Automatic Software Updates

The G-CONNECT automatic update feature keeps your G-CONNECT up-to-date with the latest software. Follow the steps below to make sure your G-CONNECT is current.

Plug your G-CONNECT into your home router using an Ethernet cable. The automatic update feature requires an Internet connection. Power on your G-CONNECT and it will automatically check and install any required updates. The Status and Wi-Fi LED's will flash as the device is updating. Once complete the 'Status' LED will stop flashing and your G-CONNECT will be ready for use.
