What do the activity LED colors mean on my G-DOCK?

There are two Activity LEDs on the front of the G-DOCK unit, with one located next to each drive bay. There are also Activity LEDs on the G-DRIVE ev cartridges. All of these lights give visual indications about how the Evolution Series is performing.

Color Code for the G-DOCK ev with Thunderbolt

  • Green means  the G-DRIVE ev units are safe to eject. 
  • Red means there is an ERROR on the drive slot 
  • Amber means that the RAID set has been degraded.

Color Code for the G-DRIVE ev

  • White LED can be solid or flashing, solid when the drive is spinning and flashing when the drive is reading/writing.
