What do the indicator lights mean?

Main unit:

  • The blue LED indicates the unit is powered ON
  • The red LED indicates a temperture warning or drive failure

Drive bays:

  • The Blue LED found on the drive bay indicates the drive is working normally
  • The drive bay flashing yellow indicates that drive has failed
  • If all of the drive bays are flashing blue and yellow, the product is attempting to rebuild the RAID

On Windows I can't initialize my G-Technology hard drive. Disk Management says it is a "GPT Protective Partition."
