My G-SPEED Sometimes Will Not Mount

In most cases the G-SPEED auto detects the speed of the fiber channel connection, however sometimes it does not, causing the volume not to mount.

Solution: Make sure you have the latest driver for your Fibre Channel HBA. We reccomend ATTO Celerity Host Bus Adapters.

1) Download the latest ATTO Drivers here:

2) Hard set the Fibre Channel speed of the G-SPEED to match your HBA's speed. (If you are using an ATTO Celerity 4x HBA, set the
G-SPEED's Fibre Channel port speed to 4Gb) To do this, access the
G-SPEED GUI via your browser and click on the "Fiber Channel Config" link on the left NAV Bar. Set the speed of Port 0 to 4Gb using the drop down menu. (G-SPEED is setup to use port 0 by default)

Also, in ATTO's Configuration Tool make sure that the data rate speed and the connection mode is set to Arbitrated Loop  so that the settings match that of your G-Speeds GUI's Fiber Channel Config page.
