Quick Setup for G-SPEED Q

Quick Setup for G-SPEED Q

  1. Remove your G-SPEED Q from its packaging. G-SPEED Q easily attaches to your computer via the FireWire® 800, USB 2.0 or eSATA port. Simply use one of the included cables to connect the drive to the appropriate port on your computer.
  2. Plug in the power cord and turn the unit on using the power switch on the back of the G-SPEED Q. The blue power LED on the front of the G-SPEED Q unit will light up.
  3. The LEDs on the four drives will begin to flash blue and orange as the device initializes. After a few moments, your G-SPEED Q will appear as a drive on your desktop if you are using a Mac computer.

Windows Users will need to reformat the drive before it is usable. For instructions on reformatting your drive for Windows Vista/7/8, please visit the following page: Formatting NTFS for Windows
