Setting up G-Speed eS for Mac or Windows
for Mac or Windows.
Remove your G-Speed eS from its packaging. G-Speed es requires an eSATA RAID controller, which you will need to install in your computer prior to setup of your G-Speed eS.
Connect your G-Speed eS to your RAID controller using an eSATA cable, and then connect the power cord.
Power on the G-Speed eS using the switch on the back of the unit. The Drive Module and Power LEDs will light up blue.
Configure the RAID for your according to your RAID controller’s instructions. Once the RAID array is configured you will be able to format the unit with your operating system’s disk utilities.
