My video or music files are not playing smoothly

My video or music files are not playing smoothly

Wireless interference will result in a decrease in the range of the device as well as decrease the data throughput over the G-CONNECT WiFi network.

 

Sources of interference that could affect throughput can be any of the following:

  • Wireless senders that operate in the 2.4GHz bandwidth
  • Wireless speakers that operate in the 2.4GHz bandwidth
  • Microwave ovens
  • Analog phones
  • Certain home and office environments such as plaster, wood, synthetic material, glass, bricks and concrete.
  • In a mixed-mode network, when legacy devices are present, there is a 802.11b/802.11g coexistence problem

To minimize the interference between your wireless network and your G-CONNECT adjust wireless barriers or change the placement of your G-CONNECT to create a clearer path.
