Can I use the G-DRIVE ev as a standalone external hard drive?

Yes. The G-DRIVE ev external hard drive modules provide the flexibility for use with the G-DOCK ev with Thunderbolt or as a standalone external hard drive. The G-DRIVE ev external hard drive feature USB 3.0 for connecting to other computers or workstations and a SATA interface for easy plug-and-play connectivity to the G-DOCK ev with Thunderbolt.
