What is the recommended length of cable I can use with my G-SPEED eS?
Because the G-SPEED eS uses a port multiplier we recommend no longer then a 1.5M ( 4.5 feet)  eSATA cable. Using longer cables can result in loss of data or RAID functionality.

On Windows I can't initialize my G-Technology hard drive. Disk Management says it is a "GPT Protective Partition."
