My G-RAID 2 Power Supply is making noise
My power supply is hissing or the power light is blinking.

This usually indicates a failing power supply.  You need to send in your power supply for service. STOP using your hard drive and fill out our support form for an RMA.

On Windows I can't initialize my G-Technology hard drive. Disk Management says it is a "GPT Protective Partition."
On a Windows system drives show up as a "GPT protective partition" and are unable to be formatted. REASON: G-Technology drives are formatted at the factory for Mac OS.  Changes to the Mac OS in 10.5 and above have caused an incompatibility with Windows OS, requiring the drive to be "cleaned" before being formatted.  The process to "clean" the drive outlined in this article. ...
