Using my G-SPEED eS with multiple brand RAID controllers

Using my G-SPEED eS with multiple brand RAID controllers

It is not recommended to move the G-SPEED eS between RAID controllers of different brands. This is because each manufacturer uses its own proprietary method/format of creating RAID sets that make moving the G-SPEED eS to a system with a different host incompatible, and could possibly destroy data.

If you absolutely need to move the G-SPEED eS between incompatible systems, then you may be able to use a software RAID 0.
