Streaming Video on your G-CONNECT

Streaming Video on your G-CONNECT

Due to the well-documented complexity in video formatting, there may be unique combinations of encoding, settings and file formats which may not play via the G-CONNECT iPad application.

Video formats, such as .MOV, .M4V, .MP4, can have different encoding formats within the file that may impact playback. There are other factors that can affect video streaming performance, the biggest factor being the total bit rate of the file.

If you plan on streaming content to multiple devices simultaneously, we recommend encoding files that are optimized for your device by selecting the presets, such as “Apple iPad” or "Apple iPhone 4" formats.
