Admin and Guest Users

Admin and Guest Users

In the Username field, choose whether you will be signing in as Admin or Guest. The Admin user is the owner of the G-CONNECT device. The Admin user may give friends and family access to their G-CONNECT by sharing with them the Guest password. Guest users will be able to view content located in the Public folder.

Note: The Wi-Fi password is used both as the password to the Wireless Network and the password to the 'Guest' account.

If Guest Access is not enabled, then only the Admin option will appear in the drop-down field. Enter your password and click on the Sign In button.

If you have forgotten your Admin password, click on the Forgot Password link. Your Password Hint will be displayed on the screen. If you are unable to remember your password, then you will need to reset your G-CONNECT device and go through the Setup process again.
