Why is there a flashing red light on my G-RAID Mini?

There will be a flashing red light on your G-RAID Mini when you first plug in your G-RAID Mini as part of its initialization process. After a few seconds, the flashing red light should turn into a white light and the drive will mount.

If your drive is in RAID 1 and you are getting a flashing red light that does not stop and the drive still mounts, we recommend that you backup your data immediately as this means that one of the two drives in the enclosure is defective. Once you have your data backed up, please refer to the link below so that we can verify warranty and create an RMA.

Warranty Returns (RMA)

If the flashing red light does not stop, it would mean that there is an issue with either one or both internal hard drives, or the controller board inside the enclosure. If that is the case, we would recommend that you create an RMA online to verify warranty and we get that drive replaced under warranty. To verify warranty and create an RMA, please refer to the link below.
