How to Connect in USB Mode

First if you have already powered on the device, you will need to power it off by pressing the power button found on the device until the LED's begin flashing. When the LED's turn off, it is safe to disconnect the power adapter. Plug the two identical ends of the Y-Cable into your personal computer and the third into your G-CONNECT.

Your G-CONNECT should now appear as a drive on your Desktop if using a Mac® and in Computer if using Windows®.

You can now access your G-CONNECT as a USB drive, manage your content and use the G-CONNECT as an Apple Time Machine® Backup location.
